Trekking on to Bamboo will take you across a river bridge and then through forests of bamboo, rhododendron and oak. There are a number of small villages along the trail.

Day 9  Deurali (3200m)
We will reach Deurali today, gaining quite a lot of height however making the following day easier.

Day 10 Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m)
This is a fairly steep walk up to reach Hinku Cave, a fire-blackened overhang of rock. Machhapuchhre Base Camp is a level and grassy moraine platform taking about 3-4 hours of walking to reach today.

Day 11 Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)
We ascend gently through the quiet grassy terrain to get to Annapurna Base Camp. The view is spectacular as we are surrounded by the giant Himalayan peaks. After having trekked for 2 hours, we reach base camp where there are fantastic views of the south face of Annapurna I.

Day 12 Tent Peak Base Camp (4700m)
We will start promptly in the morning to cross the glacier and steadily climb to base camp. The glacier is superb to see, walk across and to hear. Then once across the route climbs quite steeply and may have a light covering of snow.

Day 13 Tent Peak High Camp (5200m)
Following the trail leading to Tent peak high camp will take the group onto snow and although this is not a long day the gain in height will be significant and there is time once at high camp to rest and relax. The climbing guides will be alongside the group and you will find them very attentive as necessary to the safety and care of the group.

Day 14 Climb Peak (5695m) return to Machhapuchhre Base Camp.
There will be an early start to make the best use of the day and to reach the summit in the morning. The views from this mountain are superb giving a 360 degree view of the entire Annapurna Sanctuary. Fixed ropes will be used to ensure the groups safety and the guides will assist individuals as necessary. The scenery from this peak of the Annapurna range, that surrounds Tent Peak, is hugely impressive.
