Expeditions. The Walking and Climbing Company are specialist operators of treks in Nepal and Tibet and these treks allow the young people to experience a very different culture and country and be amongst some of the highest mountains in the world. The treks are in some of the most stunning scenery in the world covering a variety of terrain - valleys, rivers, lakes, forest and stunning mountain views and fulfil the requirements of the Duke of Edinburgh awards. They are an outstanding opportunity for young people. The students will camp, cook for themselves and carry their equipment. It is an experience that will require them to work as a team, take care of others and utilise the skills they will have learned in their training and preparation for the trip. Along the way they will encounter the local people from herders to villagers to monks, the mountain people of Nepal and Tibet are a wonderful race and an inspiration to experience due to the unmistakable influence of their culture.
